M5 v Folkstone – 10th March 2018

OBHC 5th X1 – 0
Folkestone – 0

This was a similar game to when the teams met in the first half of the season. Folkestone started brightly showing some good stick skills and attacking pace. James Anderson was at his best in goal, thwarting all that was thrown at him, combined with good defensive work from Matt Bullen and Freddie Lo. The 5s got themselves into the game and created chances of their own but were also unable to beat the away keeper. Craig Williams and Stirling Campbell were unable to get the ball passed him.
The second half saw the home side have a lot more of the ball and once again from a number of short corners were unable to convert. Williams went close again with a reverse stick shot that brought a save from the ‘keeper. Folkestone had a couple of chances too but in the end a draw seemed a fair result.
