Blackheath Dynamos – 1
Blackheath Dynamos are the newcomers to this division.. They are a side that contain fathers and
sons that were very talented. It was a slow start by the home side trying to put passes together but it
did come and they created some good chances that were not taken. The Dynamos’ youngsters were
keeping the Old Boys’ defence on their toes with their pace and skills but they also had trouble
shooting on sight. When the Old Boys did put a move together it resulted in good movement and
passing from Di Wellman and Craig Williams that saw Kev Cracknell finish in style from close range.
The second half saw Blackheath press continually but the OB defence and ‘keeper James Anderson
stood firm, and Mark Bullen deserves special praise for his performance. Unfortunately for the Old
Boys, the away side scored with the last hit of the game, a great shot from the top of the circle that
‘keeper Anderson had no chance with. A decent start bearing in mind the side was missing a few key
